Author of 10 books on international human rights, for three consecutive years they were awarded prizes and honors for his work at the Center for Humanities at the University of California “Re-envisioning the Human: Human Rights and Humanitarianism”.
In 2013 – 2014 she was a member of the Woodrow Wilson Center in Washington, DC. She participated as guest professor at the University of Deusto, Bilbao, Spain, offering a course for indigenous leaders from Latin America (June 2012).
She has been speaker and teacher in Argentina, Australia, Ecuador, France, Spain, Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands, South Africa and Japan. She currently teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in Human Rights, International Relations, Civil Society and Latin American Politics at the University of California.
