He is director of the Global Ethic Institute and professor of globalization and business ethics at the University of Tibingen in Germany. His areas of specialization and academic work include political, economic and religious philosophy with a particular focus on theories of freedom and responsibility in the era of “globality”.
His recent book publications include: “Qualitative Freedom – Autonomy in Cosmopolitan Responsibility” and “Reframing Economic Ethics. The Philosophical Foundations of Humanistic Management”.
