Javier Melloni is a Jesuit, Doctor of Theology and graduate in Cultural Anthropology.
He is a member of Cristianisme i Justícia and professor at the Faculty of Theology of Catalonia at the Institute of Fundamental Theology in Sant Cugat (Barcelona).
He specializes in interreligious dialogue and comparative mysticism. He has made repeated trips to India. He lives in the Cave of San Ignacio (Manresa) where he accompanies and reflects on the manifestations of the experience with God as well as being a member of Manlleva, Sanctuary of Presence, an inter-religious contemplative community.
