Felicidad Cristobal is today fundamentally dedicated to contribute increasing the
consciousness level in human beings.
As Conscious Philanthropy Advisor, she considers necessary a deep change in
philanthropy, in order to modify the one-directional flow of financial resources and achieve
a common awakening of our noblest capacities. She is now President of the Foundation for
Consciousness Development (Spain).
She is also Senior Advisor to the Business Council of International Understanding (USA), to
Synergy Capital (UK) and to Intex (India), as well as Member of the Advisory Board in the
Cremades & Calvo Sotelo Law firm (Spain) and Member of the Board in the Katarina Gurska
Foundation for Education and Culture (Spain).
Prior to all this, she created and managed the ArcelorMittal Foundation, with its
headquarters in Luxembourg, and a result of the merger between Arcelor and Mittal Steel
in 2006. This Foundation operated in 30 countries, with investments of several hundreds
of millions of Euros to carry out more than 7.000 projects between the years 2006 to 2014.
Felicidad Cristobal’s career with the newly merged group Arcelor (Aceralia, Arbed and
Usinor) began in 2001 in Luxembourg as Senior Vice President International Affairs, being
in charge of three departments: Competition Law, International Trade and Governmental
Affairs. She left this position to become CEO of the ArcelorMittal Foundation.
Before entering the private sector, she developed part of her career within the
Governmental institutions. She served as Chief of International Relations at the Economic
and Social Council of the Spanish Government (1996-2001), having started her career as
an international Advisor within the Cabinet of the Spanish Prime Minister Felipe González
(1993-1996).
Felicidad Cristobal graduated in Law and Piano. She holds two Masters in European
Community Law and International Relations and speaks six languages.
