Director of CEMEX Foundation
She has obtained several national and international academic qualifications in the fields of politics, business and social responsibility and has served in both the public sector and the private sector, and for 18 years, is part of the CEMEX team where she has participated in various areas.
She currently serves as vice president of Corporate Affairs and Corporate Social Responsibility and as Director of CEMEX-of Monterrey Center for the Development of Sustainable Communities.
In her career she has been part of the team that developed programs that have benefited more than 6 million Mexicans, and that have been recognized by the UN HABITAT, OAS, IDB, CEMEFI, CONCAMIN, among others, being programs designed for multidimensional poverty alleviation. Also she is part of various executive boards of civil society like UN-HABITAT World Urban Forum, CEMEFI, AXTEL Foundation SumaRSE, Citizen Integration Center, Community Development, AC, Planning Working Group Private Sector – UNHABITAT between others.
Particularly, Martha has been selected and recognized by various institutions and media, among them, the 10 most important women in the construction industry in Mexico by the magazine Obras, since 2010 among the 100 most powerful women in business Mexico by the group Expansión and within the top 10 women of Corporate Social Responsibility in Mexico by CEMEFI.
