Sandra Waddock is Galligan Chair of Strategy, Carroll School Scholar of Corporate Responsibility, and Professor of Management at Boston College’s Carroll School of Management. 

She has published 15 books and more than 170 papers and chapters in a wide variety of journals and books.

Recipient of numerous awards, Waddock received a PRME Pioneer Award in 2017, the 2016 Lifetime Achievement Award from Humboldt University for contributions in corporation sustainability and responsibility, the 2015 award for Leadership in Humanistic Management, and the 2014 Lifetime Achievement Award in Collaboration Research (CSSI Symposium and Partnership Resource Center, Erasmus U.), among others.

Her latest books are Transforming towards Life-Centered Economics (2020) and Management and the Sustainability Paradox (David Wasieleski, Sandra Waddock, and Paul Shrivastava, 2020).

Current research interests are intellectual shamanism, transformational systems change, memes and narratives in system transformation, stewardship of the future, corporate sustainability and responsibility, the problem of growth, and wisdom

Receptora de numerosos premios, Waddock recibió un Premio Pionero otorgado por la iniciativa de Naciones Unidas PRME (Principios para la educación en gestión responsable) en 2017, el Premio a la Trayectoria 2016 de la Universidad de Humboldt por sus contribuciones a la sustentabilidad y responsabilidad de las corporaciones, el 2015 Premio de Liderazgo en Administración Humanista y el 2014 Premio a la Trayectoria en Investigación Colaboración (CSSI Symposium and Partnership Resource Centre, Erasmus U.), entre otros.

Sus últimos libros son Transformación hacia la economía centrada en la vida (2020) y  La Gestión y la Paradoja de la Sostenibilidad (David Wasieleski, Sandra Waddock y Paul Shrivastava, 2020). Los intereses de investigación actuales son el chamanismo intelectual, el cambio de sistemas transformacionales, los memes y las narrativas en la transformación del sistema, la administración del futuro, la sustentabilidad y responsabilidad corporativa, el problema del crecimiento y la sabiduría.
